What is COB light source?

COB technology LED panel light source: Firstly cover wafer position with conductive epoxy resin(generally use epoxy resin mixed with silver particles), then put the silicon wafer on the base surface, heating until silicon wafer fixed on the base surface firmly, build up electrical link directly by wire bonding between silicon wafer and base.

1. COB is the latest LED packaging technology, COB-Chip on Board, packing LED chip directly on the PCB, without other carriers, such as the bracket for traditional packaging.

2. Low thermal resistance: COB packaging structure for direct heat conduction & dissipation, thermal resistance is much lower than traditional packaging structure. Lower LED fading, longer life span. Temperature down 28% compared with the traditional light source.

3. No glare light: COB uses integrated package, the overall luminescence, emitting uniformly. Break through the single point LED light-emitting form of traditional package structure, the COB light emitting is bigger area, soft, no glare, ghosting image, comfortable vision.

4. High reliability: the COB light source we use is multiple single chips assembly process, not like the traditional one, avoiding the hidden trouble of welding/assembly multiple chips.
